Stryker Stifles on Opening Day

Opening Day did not exactly go according to plan for the Panthers' Varsity Baseball team, as they suffered a troubling 0-10 defeat against Montpelier on Tuesday. Stryker hopes to turn their luck around next week, however. The team will play at North Central on Tuesday, the 6th. Following what will hopefully be their first win early in the season, the Panthers happily find themselves playing each of their next 3 games at home. While being faced with a shutout mercy-rule loss to begin the season can be tough, it represents a perfect analogy for their season; if they want to be successful, there are going to be some big hills they'll have to climb.
