Checking In On Stryker Softball

As April comes to a close, it is time we shed some light on the Panthers' softball team! It is very unfortunate that not much has been covered in regards to the sport, but this has not been an act of poor intentions. At this point in the calendar, the team should have played 12 games, but sadly, due to various circumstances, only 5 games have been able to be played. With a roster of only 13 players, it can be difficult to maintain a healthy team, and it looks like those difficulties are making themselves prominent, and consistently. Of their 5 games, the team is currently 2-3, but fortunately holds a 2-1 record when it comes to conference games. While 2-1 is not much to go off of, it is enough to give them 2nd place in the league, and hope to make the playoffs, provided the team can be healthy enough to play. They are scheduled to play Edon this Tuesday at 5pm at home, so here is to hoping a game can be played, and then won by the Panthers!
